one of my friends told me of a job that basically all u do is sit and type, he never said anything about being an accountant or anything like that, but all u do is just type things.

It sounds like data entry or an assistant. I really don't think that he is 100% seating down and typing. I am sure he has other things to do too. Like filing, answering the phone, etc. I have never heard a job that only involves doing 1 thing. The company would have to hire hundreds of employees if each one of them only do 1 thing.

this kind of work is called DATA ENTRY. It is OK if you like computers and monotony. There are two types of data entry--KEY--the original entry of information, and VERIFY--checking someone else's work. ALL batches must be keyed and verified before being released to computer processing.
