Okay- so my roommates refuse not to do drugs in the apartment that we live in togther. We are all on the lease. Today I called the management office and they said that they are going to send a patrol guard out at about 9:00 tonight. If they find that they are doing something then they will call the police. The leasing office says that they are keeping me as far away from the issue as possible. They aren't going to tell my rooommates that it was me who contacted them or anything. If they get caught it's an automatic eviction. The leasing office said that they maybe be able to disassociate me with them on the lease and that way I wouldn't get evicted.

Do you think I went too far or was it the right thing to do? Also, does the leasing office seem to be taking the right steps?

I've been asked to do a six-week study, high school level, about managing finances. We will meet once or twice weekly depending on how much material I plan to cover. Want to contribute any topic suggestions? Anything from balancing your checkbook to investing in mutual funds/stock trading, leasing vs. purchasing autos, diff. types of mortgages, etc.

I have just hung up from trying to get a auto title from this bunch of retards that was payed off over
two months ago.I was told today the title was mailed Sept 20. I told this nut that I was told it was mailed Aug 23.Then he backs up. It comes down to they finely came clean that they mailed it to the wrong address. Also my bank account was over dipped over 2600 dollars when I payed it off. That I got back after a month and a half. Now the retards tell me it is up to me to apply for another title.
When I first got this loan about 30 months ago
they lied about the interest so I canceled the credit card I had with them. So they turn around eighteen months later and send me a bill for a 20 dollar annual fee I called and told them I had not had that account for over a year and a half so I thought that was the end of that till my credit score went down and the nuts had reported it to the credit rating company's.
All I can say is stay away from them.
Wink

junk! "Work from home!","Be your own boss!","Training provided!","No experience or education needed!""Make 10k each month from home!" If it was that easy, why doesn't everyone do it? No education or experience needed and you still make 10K/month. Who can pass that up? Maybe someone with an education that might know that the real world does not hand you a 6 figure income with no experience or education. Poor suckers. All I am getting at is, why does Yahoo or Hot Jobs put more filters in place to keep the crap out? Who is benefiting from this?

Im closing on my first house next week. My husband and I are both 30. I checked I mortgage caculator and found out if we make a payment of $3500.00 1 x a year in addition to our regular payments then we will pay the loan off 10 years earlier. Is that a good thing to do with our money or should we be putting it into some sort of stocks for retirement.

We are in our early twenties but own our own one acre piece of land that his father gave to us as a gift. One salesman told us that we should ask if the frame is fitted to the floor plan layout, and if the insulation was blown into the walls or just layed out in the sheets. And other such questions. What other things do we need to ask so that we may buy the best quality home for ourselves.
