Back when I had a job where I 'had' to be there by 8 AM, my alarm was set for 6:05. But for the past 10 years, I've not had to set my alarm at all! [no, it's not because I'm unemployed.]
I get up whenever I wake up, which is usually 5:30 to 6:30. If I try to sleep much later than that, the cat starts to get really annoyed, and he shows his annoyance by biting my feet!
I shower, shave, dress, and drive to work. It makes no difference when I get there. I work reasonably hard until I get tired, then I go home. Some days I work 9 or 10 hours, some days 6 or 7.
Then the next day, I do it all over again!
Having a really flexible schedule is nice. But I still have to get my work done.

7am or 8am
But I keep hitting the snooze button again and again until I have just a few minutes to get ready to leave. Sometimes I hit the snooze for one hour until I just turn the alarm off and decide to stay in bed. It's so hard to get up ;(
