Ok so my bank talked me into apply for a credit card to avoid overdraft fees in my checking account. Well yesterday they cashed three checks, none of which I had the money for in my checking account. Instead of taking the money off my credit card, and there was $800 on the card, they charged me a $27 overdraft fee for each check and returned them. Now I have to pay my vet a $35 returned check fee for two checks and call a friend of mine to assure she's going to get her money from me. How should I take care of this, because I am very very mad. I want to yell and scream, but that doesn't always work.

I currently have Unicare with a $35 co-pay and a $1000 deductable. My secondary is Family Care which is a form of Illinois Medicaid and it has a co-pay of $2. I have graduated medical billing and am pretty sure on the answer to my question, but I need to know how to prove it if I am correct.

My husband has been assigned to go to physical therapy. They accept both insurances. They are trying to tell my husband that there is a $30 co-pay because they are physical therapy.
My assumption was that with a secondary or co-insurance you are to bill the patient after you have billed the other sources. When you recieve the EOB from the primary (Unicare) you bill the remainder, which includes the co-pay, to the secondary (Medicaid). Then the secondary insurance's EOB shows what is left of the member responsibility. Therefore the only thing we may have to pay is the $2 Medicaid co-pay.

PLEASE HELP!!

I'm kind of worried about a financial tool that so easily pulls money straight from your checking account. Considering changing my check card into just an ATM card.

I was asking from a nursing school the number of total students in their nursing department out of the3500 students on their campus, and they only replied back that they accept 68 intakes twice per year for adult nursing and 26 intakes twice per year for mental health nursing.

So , in your estimation, how many nursing students do you they have in total at this campus??

Thanks for your answers!

We moved into a home, we are paying $2400 a month and it is rat invested! Also, when we moved in, the house was not clean, i spent three days cleaning it. There are a number of repairs not made.
We have notified our landlord of these things and nothing is being done.
We have only been here two months and we did not pay this last months rent. We just provided them with a letter of intent to move within 30 days.
I have notified the city which we live in and made a complaint about the rats.

Does anyone know if there is anything else we can do to protect ourselves?? Can we legally break this lease??

I live in Ventura County. my landlord just informed my roommates and i through text message that she was evicting us b/c she cannot rent out her extra bedroom, which i guess is costing her an extra 600 a month. her rental agreement states she must give us a 60 day notice, but reading up on the civil code, i find that she can give 30 days if we have lived here for less than a year. any help anyone couke give me would be relly appreciated.

During a portion of 2005 and 2006 I purchased a total of 18 cartons of cigarettes online for a discounted rate. These were not sold, they were for my own personal use, also for my boyfriend.

I received a bill today in the mail for almost $500 for sales and excise tax. The sales tax total is $60.00, but the excise tax is $420.00. What exactly is the excise tax and how is the state of NJ able to charge me the excise tax and is there anything I can do to reduce these charges?

I just wanted to get some answers before I called and paid anything.

I have been working at a small business (cell phone service provider store/DISH network retail) for about a week now, and I have ONE co-worker. Our boss owns a few different of these stores, and is hardly ever at ours. Well, my co-worker (who my boss adores) is not only overbearing on her personal life to me ( her personal problems, such as custody of her step-daughter, relationship problems, etc.. ), but treats customers like pieces of garbage like it is a "privelage" to be in our store. From what I've seen, the customer satisfaction rating would be below 40%.
She also has spent a good 2% of her time training me, while being semi-productive, I still have no clue what to do and I start on my own Saturday.
So basically,
How should I go about telling her or my boss about this? I like the job a lot, but I really don't think I could handle all of that if it stays like this.

Hi, I am a 24 y/old...I really need some advice....Whenever I have some extra cash left on me I always seem to spend it...on any dumb little thing....I wish I could just put it away, save it, pretend it's not there so that later on I can invest it on something valuable or use it to go on a nice vacation (which I've been planning for a while) but due to my spending habits I haven't been able to. Any tips on how to take the anxiety away and save my cash!!!!!

Many friends of mine seem to know how to save, or know how to control their spending habits...

Any tips???

Does anyone know what my tenant's rights are under New Jersey law? I have looked it up, but this stuff is very confusing and not answering my questions.

Essentially, my landlord is threatening to raise my rent because utilities are too high (they are included in rent), and also raise my rent because my boyfriend spends the weekends with me at my apartment. Is this legal? I thought this fell under the category of 'quiet enjoyment.'

Debt from a school through job training back in 1999. It was just recently placed on credit and tried to dispute it, but Transunion gave an unclear answer as to why it was not removed. The answer was it is all automated. About $100 dollars was paid in total. I'm not sure how much is totally owed because I was asked the question, it's not my debt.

Im moving into a pet friendly apartment in a week. Right now the apartment I live in is NOT pet friendly. I just bought a new puppy and the pet store will only hold her until today.(I know, I know I shouldn't have bought her from a pet store) Anyways, do you think that it will be ok to sneak her into my apartment until moving day comes. She doesn't seem to be a barker.
