I have not been able to sell my condo and I need a larger home. I need 100% financing but I do have enough for the closing costs. I owe 169K on my condo and its worth 186K. I make 60K per year and have a car payment of $400 a month, with no other debt payments. I am looking to rent my condo for $1100 a month but I do pay about $1400 for mortgage, fees, taxes, etc. I also have a 720 credit score.

Do you think I can get a fixed rate loan for 230K with 100% financing? If not what can I do?

I am going to the bank next week and I would like to have some idea of what my options might be.

Thanks for your input.

With the volatility of the market these days, is it better for me to put it into a CD with a guaranteed return of at least 5%, or do you believe the market will improve enough that I can do more?
What type of account should I open, if I do decide not to use a CD?

I have searched all my medical books, checked with the medical sites on line, and even googled it. Nothing comes up. The other transcriptionists on the account I work on have never heard of it either.

A friend of a friend says he can get us Office Prof. for $20. I think he just wants $20 for a pirated copy of Office. Think I am correct in assuming this? Or is there really some deal?

I'm just not ready to finish school as is expected from me, and then get some career that I may or may not have the rest of my life. I am in school and I work in the mortgage industry I like it, and want to have a career in it, but for some reason not right after I graduate. Is it odd that I want to finish school only to serve 4 years in the air force, or to join the air force and then finish school. I want to serve my country( i know there are more ways to do that then joining the military) I also want be in a new environment, I have lived in pretty much the same city around the same people. and I want a job that may or may not end up being my career but it will be a different experience I would not have had otherwise. I know there is a war going on so joining would make Iraq a possibility which doesn't scare me I just know that would be hard on my family. so any advice or alternatives, besides joining the peace corp first. I have thought about it already

Hi,
One of my family members recently hit a deer. They still owed money on the car. They sent it through to be worked on and got the bill. They have to pay it all up front. They do not have any where near the money to pay for it and they cannot get a loan because their credit is horrible. My question is, since they still owe money on it from the bank, what will happen when the person who fixes their car doesn't get paid?

My husband and I are working our way slowly to being debt-free without a bankruptcy. We recently got a limit raise on our lowest rate APR credit card so we did balance transfers on all of our other cards (there were 6). Since we desperately want to get our Credit Score to move UP (It's only 550 right now), is it best to close all these accounts we just transfered or just cut up the cards and leave the accounts themselves open? We want to do what ever will help our score the most! :) Thanks!

Homes in our area have gone down in value and I just recently checked zillow..com and just realized I'm financing a home at 98% of the value of the home. We are in a financial bind right now (new baby, child care costs, etc) and need to do something. The mortgage is too high for us now. I don't have perfect credit. I just called my mortgage company and they said they don't have a program for me. I don't want to sell. Is there a way to lower the monthly payments? If additional information is needed, I'll try to update this question if needed.

I am a college student and i go to school full time and work full time. My parents own a small business that has recently been struggling a bit. We have had some cash flow problems while working large projects. Over the past few months I have worked 60-80 hours a week. I told my parents they could just pay me regular 40 hours and not overtime for the time being until they had a little more cash. They owe me about $3400 and its been about 3 months now. Business has picked back up since then. At the beginning of this year they also allowed me to move back in with them for a few months for free. Should i ask for the money? I feel like i should not because there family but i really need the money. I worked physical labor and could be working another job. Please help!

Whats up with that? Why aren't the houses selling in Frisco? Is it the way they are build that people are not interested or what? Not only that but they are alot of houses for sale in Frisco, why? Why are all these people trying to sell their houses in the 75034 area? Please educate as to why?

Ok so I need to know if this is worth it.
I want to do medical transcription from home. The place I found in my town, Techskills, is offering to certify me in 6months for just under 7 thousand dollars.

Do I need a certification? A lot of jobs that i find in my area for it require like 2 years of experience.

techskills says that when I am done with the program they will give me a big list of transcrition agencys in my area to help put me in a job.

Is it worth it?

My husband and I run a charity event once a year, over the course of a 3 day weekend. This year we would like to accept credit card payments at the door. After looking into the merchant accounts available, we cannot justify paying all the fees for only 3 days of use out of the year. Does any one know of a simple way for a charity group to accept credit cards short term?
