I have very bad credit. I am soo tired of renting. I want to try and finance a house. Is there any way possible to do so without a huge down payment. I have never owned a house before. Everyone tells me there are first time buyer programs.

freecreditreport.com, truecreditreport.com, annualreport.com and they are ALL USELESS!. All they do is collect your info and thats it nothing else. They say nothing about what my score whether its 600, 700, 800. I don't know but the meaning of the word free means you DO NOT pay. But they say I have to pay $5, $6, even up to $10 to get your report. But I don't want to know what my report is, I already know that I just want to know what my credit score is, thats all is that too much to ask for!

It took this company 3 weeks to call me back after my 2nd interview. I was told when they called for my 3rd that the interview would be "next week" which was a week ago. She asked me what my availability was for the following week: 8/20/07 but then never called back to schedule it. Should I call the assistant and check on the status of when my 3rd is scheduled or should I just wait?

Mainly locally, A small computer repair business, with many other services, wireless installations, hardware repair, system repair, spyware/virus removal, and so on. I'm trying to boost up the business, and one recommendation was to make an ad and just start putting it in people mail box's. or apartment buildings. the good thing about the business is that the services are very cheap, so its hard to pass it on! any recommendations on how to get more business?

A former colleague of mine recently had an attorney review her company's employee handbook, and the attorney suggested she remove references to "Corrective Action" and replace them with the term "Disciplinary Action." I've always heard that the use of "discipline" is not only archaic, it puts the manager in the position of being parental/authoritarian, rather than in the position of progressive employer - but I'm no attorney.

Can anyone recommend a white paper that discusses the pros and cons of the use of either terminology?

I have a 3 year credit history (opened up a secured account with Orchard Bank to get my first credit card). Currently I have 3 credit cards -

first one is 500$ with 0 balance - opened 3 years ago,
second one is 500$ with 0 balance - opened 2 years ago
third one is 3600 with 3400 as balance - opened 9 months back.

I dont have any other debts. I am currently making 100500 per year + options + bonus. I checked my credit score - its 698.

Today I asked the bank for the third credit card to raise my credit limit since I am getting married this year.so I might need more money to cover up the expenses. I was wondering how much they can raise my credit limit, if any ?

We have seen a new house we would like to buy and the builders want £500 to reserve a plot then 10% of the total 5 weeks later (£24000). Is this normal procedure? If the sale on our existing house hasn't gone through by then, how would be the best way to raise the capital? I'm thinking of buying a new car for the first time and was wondering if it effects your credit score when capital one or a dealer fills out and runs a car-loan application. I heard that filling out applications can affect or lower your score if you are not approved.
