It took this company 3 weeks to call me back after my 2nd interview. I was told when they called for my 3rd that the interview would be "next week" which was a week ago. She asked me what my availability was for the following week: 8/20/07 but then never called back to schedule it. Should I call the assistant and check on the status of when my 3rd is scheduled or should I just wait?

Absolutely call back. To not do so makes you look irresponsible or not serious about the offer.

Absolutely call her back! It shows that you are still interested in the position. If you don't, they might see it as you have found another job. As an employer, I take notice of people that assert themselves, show an interest in the company and position. Show a positive attitude and you will be surprised as to how quickly you will be called in. Good luck.

Definitely call! Have you considered that this is part of the interview process??? They may want to see how you deal with problems... What are you waiting for??? Get off the computer and go call them!

Most definitely. Sounds like they are a bit disorganized over there. It's your right to call and find out what's going on. Doing so will let them know that you care for the position and aren't blowing them off. =) Even though it may seem as though they are treating you similarly.

CALL! Have some specific times available and offer to follow-up in a couple of days. Then follow-up.
