I believe an 'Official Caution' would .... but (I believe) most cautions are 'unofficial' ...

Yes it will show up.
An official caution means you have admitted to the offence of theft.
It remains on record for 5 years or until you are 18 if over 10 and under 13.
Don't do the crime unless you can do the time (up to 10 years for theft)

I think Cautions are "wiped off" your record after a certain amount of time, they are there to show that youhave had a caution if you re offend.

Yes, think next time you should remember to go through checkout first before leavin the store. If i am not mistaken its either 5 or 10 yrs. that u are on list

Generally, only arrests will show up on your NCIC or state system. If you weren't fingerprinted or "booked in" you are probably in the clear. Most police department will allow you to run your own criminal history check for about $5.00.
