Because to talk like that is very easy for me and I need some extra cash and I have the impression that it's something that can be done at night from my home.

Anyone have any info? Such as how I would get into this kind of thing? Or how much I can make doing it, if I can choose my hours, do it from a cell phone, etc.

I have worked for the company for 14 years and they are now closing. They want me to sign a paper that will pay me two weeks pay but by signing I agree not to file for unemployment. I have heard that I can get 14 weeks of pay which will equal to my 14 years of service. They said that it is not true.

We recently went through a dramatic job loss and lost 2/3 of our income. We are barely able to keep food on the table after we pay out our bills each month. We have consolidated as much as we can. We both currently claim 0 on our w-4 tax forms, so is it worth changing these forms to claim 1 (since we do have a dependent anyway) to free up a little more money each month? I realize we will get less back on our tax return at the end of the year. I just want to make sure we wont OWE any moneyeither. We do own a house also. We live in Colorado (if that makes a difference)....Thanks for any info or advice :)

Hey, I just accepted a job offer the other day at a yacht club in the boat yard section doing maintance. I told my new boss that ill be able to start after I give a 1 week notice to my current employer I only work part time right now but my new job is full time. Anyways I'm a bit confused on things such as what to wear on the job and exactly what the job is, my question is tomorrow I have nothing to do so do you think it would be ok to go down to the yacht club and look around and talk to my new co workers and my new boss?

My brother opened up a Schwab custodial account for his son, before he and his wife were divorced, but now she is claiming she "wants to make deposits" into the account herself and therefore needs ownership. Is this true? This woman can't handle her money and is notorious for burning through every dollar within reach, no matter whose money it is.

I dont come across as the most socail person and it takes me a long time to to adjust to people. I just don't know how i will be. But i need to move so i can study, its for my future.

I have a good offer from a good company that I would like to work for, but have several other interviews for positions that are higher ranked and pay better. I have to give an answer before knowing how the other options work out. Is a bird in the hand better than two in the bush?

Gary Coleman has done some commercials for CashCall. He states in the commercial that no one wanted to lend him money. I did read that Mr. Coleman filed for bankruptcy years back. But when I called CashCall about their lending services, they stated to me that they would not lend any money to anyone who had filed for BK.
Why do they use Gary Coleman for their commercials if he himself filed for BK, and they probably lent him money?

This is a strange one, My wife and I put an offer in on this house and requested the seller pays the closing costs as we need to sell ours but didnt want to put a contingency on it. The seller accepted the offer without a counter which was strange as we went in real low expecting the counter. She went to our Real Estate Agents office within 2-3 hours of the offer to sign the papers etc which she did. Then the very next day at 6am she calls my Real estate agent and states she only just read the contract and didnt realise she was paying OUR closing costs and thought we were offering $2,500 off the asking and paying $7500 towards her closing costs? To make matters worse she is an active real estate agent and failed to disclose that she is the owner/listing agent. She now wants to pull out and offered a counter after the contract was signed by both parties? We have also given $2k deposit. Any advice what we should do from here? We have 30 days to closing.
