No reason you shouldn't be able to do so. Just inspect it thoroughly, don't do anything without getting a receipt and a lease that spells out the terms of the rental... and by all means, make absolutely sure you can pay the rent and your other bills, too.

Legally yes. But you may have a problem finding a landlord who will accept you. You need a job or other source of income. Also most landlords will want to know how long you have been working at this job. Good luck.
