I was working as a waiter in London for more than a year, i have my payslips with me and another form called Psomething jejeje.. i heard that i can claim my taxes 'cos i´m in my country now, d'you know the correcto procedure to follow in order to receive my taxes back? even though i'm in Mexico right now

If you left the UK part way through the tax year there is a very good chance that you will have overpaid tax.

If you kept your P45 you can check to see how much you would be due back:

Everyone that works in the UK gets a tax free allowance of 5225, and this is normally pro rated for the year, that is why if you left half way through you can get some money back.

You can either contact the tax office that would have been dealing with your tax affairs or there are some agencies that can help get the money back for you. For example:

You apply to UK Gov. Revenue & Customs dept. (form P50 ??)

= see web site ... you can download most forms as PDF and send them back by post ..
