I realize there are lots of variables here...but Assuming a turn-key house, in an average market (neither hot nor cold), how much below the asking price do you think the average house sells for...5%...10% ?

Many private equity deals have been made with highly leveraged capital structures dependent upon large amounts of debt. Is the nature and risk of such LBO debt adequately reflected in ratings by current bond ratings and rating agencies or is the risk underestimated and the ratings overestimated, making such debt eligible for purchase by bond yield funds whose overall risk has thereby increased?

I'm filling out an application for Red Robin to be a waitress, and it asks my expected wage. I know that waitresses don't get paid much because of tips, so I don't know what to put.

I've never worked at a restruant so I dont know how much they get paid, like $3 maybe?

I live in Wisconsin if that helps.

to make automatic deductions from your check for 401k? I just noticed that my employer is taking out 2% of my income and putting it into a 401k which I never authorized. I do get paperwork from them from time to time but am not interested in enrolling in any program as I live from check to check and cannot afford insurance or retirement accounts. I get paid electronically so I hadn't really looked at my check before recently. They have taken 60 dollars out in the past 3 months. I called to cancel to day and they said they could cancel it but couldn't refund my money until I retire or quit my job, which I don't plan to do. I really need that money for my childs school supplies as I am in a financial disaster not even having enough food and having to scramble for bus money. It there any way I can get them to give me my money back now or have they stolen it? As far as I am concerned, if I can't have it now, they are stealing it.

I have been working at a retail shop for a while now and have wanted to quit for some time. The reason why I have stayed is for the money. The people are very unfriendly and have at times treated me as well as other employees like we are 2 years old. I have received my schedule for next week and am only scheduled for under 6 hours of work. This is suprising and shocking to me since I have been scheduled over the past couple weeks for 20+ hours. In addition I feel I am a great employee. I have come in as early as 7am to help with new items being brought into the store. I have never complained about early or late work hours or last minute changes. I am really thinking about quitting it has lately seemed that they do not appreciate me or my work ethic. The positives of quitting would be that it would give me a real kick in the pants to find something and spread my wings and find something I could really build as a career. The negative aspect no immediate money coming in.

I recently took over the finances of my Dad. He's 57 years old and has advanced kidney failure.

He's self-employed and deals mostly with cash and checks. I've recently discovered that he hasn't paid taxes in 15 years. I need to get him caught up, as he's going to need Social Security benefits soon.

How would one even begin to do this?

We live in a Missouri apartment and found a nice apartment elsewhere. We were supposed to move into the new apartment on Sep., but ended up getting moved up to the end of Aug. To give our landlord enough time we extended the move out date to Sep 2 giving our landlord 30 days notice. Problem is our lease says that we need to give a written notice by the first of the month, so our landlord is saying we have to pay for Sep. rent for being 1 day late. She isnt budging, not willing to understand our situation, and not even allowing for a pro-rate.

I did find this in the missouri state law:

(1) Except as provided in subdivision (2), the landlord or the tenant may terminate a month-to-month tenancy by a written notice given to the other party stating that the tenancy shall terminate upon a periodic rent-paying date not less than one month after the receipt of the notice.

Do we really have to pay for Sep rent or is our landlord being difficult?

I've been ill and because of it lost my job. I've been looking for something right away, but in the meantime my rent have been late. I'm single, with no family, and my credit isn't good enough for a loan.
I notified my rental manager in a letter, letting them whats going on and if I could pay in installments. I don't know if this will prevent court proceedings.
