I have worked the same dead end job for 6 years. After 2 and a half years without a pay raise they finally gave me a 50 cent raise a month ago, which IMO was a slap in the face after 6 years of service and many broken promises and excuses. I felt like they never really treated me that well, even though we got along OK on a personal level.

I have already enroled in college and am going back to school in a few weeks. I am really nervous about how to resign as I can see an altercation with the owner who is a bit of a hot head. I want to quit the right way, but I feel like I owe them nothing more than the bare minimum.

What is an acceptable way to put in my two weeks without starting a fight? Has anyone used a letter of resignation? If so how do you deliver it in a way that is professional???

My friend said if i put my money in insurance, they will invest it in mutual funds. Even losing money, they will still pay me 1 percent of interest + my original money. Is this possible? That means I wont losing money even the price of mutual fund i invest in is falling? or is this a lie? Wikipedia says WFG requires an initial deposit of only $30,000 to gain access to their actively managed funds, what does that mean? Isn't just
paying the 100 dollar back ground check to start out or initiallly havng to put 30,000 in the account? Sincerely

For my business i sell pens, pencils, and other needs in the 7th grade, but I don't know how to price them. I also have some rare Yugio cards which i no longer care for. How much should I price those to the yugio lovers at my school.

PS I think Yugio is lame, no offense.

My dad recently went for a job interview and he will hear within two weeks if he will be called back for a second interview.

Now usually, he sends a thank you letter. However, I told him not to send one until he receives a call saying he has a second interview and then after the second interview, send one.

What do you think? What should he do? Any advice would be great!

Thanks! :-)

Earnings rose 93% for the quarter, beating analyst estimates. Yet the stock has been on a steady decline from $165 per share on July 30 to a current $130 ($129 in after hours). I don't understand. The yearly trend has been a steady rise. Is the subprime mortgage crisis to blame?

=( I purchased shares at $137.98..

Megagrocer is a grocery chain that operates five stores. The stores are supplied with produce, meat, dairy, and dry goods by six separate vendors. In addition to the stores, Megagrocer maintains an ecommerce site through which customers can order and pay for groceries. The groceries are packed and delivered to customers from one of the five stores in a Megagrocer van by that store’s personnel. Think about the accounting information systems that Megagrocer might use.

o What types of source documents might be collected by Megagrocer to be processed by its accounting information systems?

o Why are those documents important?

I'm 23 with good credit so far and I don't want to screw it up. I'm very responsible with my bills but I was out of work for a month and I got really behind with my rent, car payments, insurance, cell phone... etc. that I only was paying the minimum amount due. I have a loan and another credit card that has the whole "NO PAYMENTS FOR 6 MONTHS" (then the interest is super high) and I haven't paid a dime on them and the time is coming. I was wondering if I could use my store credit card to pay those 2 bills off. I would rather pay the lower interest rate on 1 card verses all three. Is this possible and how would I go about doing that? I have a low cash advance amount on my card otherwse I would just withdrawl it from an atm and put it in my bank account. Somebody please help!
