I am looking for more of a office work/ reception job but I have mostly been working with children and I am not sure what I can do to make my resume better.. any advice would be great thanks!

I have a friend that is fighting to get Social Security Disability in Ohio. Her parents bought her an acre of land and she put it in her boyfriends name in fear it would hurt her chances for disability, and I am not convinced it would.

Her boyfriend isn't the most trust worthy. I am afraid that he'll tell her to get lost and keep it before she is approved for disability and can put it in her name.

I think if it was in her name now it would not hurt her but if she waited till after she gets the disability then they maybe able to say something.

Anyone know ? Anyone have any suggestions on how to help my friend before she is scammed on?

I am an "on the books" busboy and have decided to give my boss one weeks notice instead of two. In reaction to this he threatened to withold all my tips for the week I have left until I find a replacement. Should I consider seeking legal action against him?

I have a shop and its rented to one for doing clinical Lab.
That person is now asking for our Last "Tax Reciept" of that shop. He is telling that its for taking some kind of liecense and will return in some days.
1. I would like to know that is it safe to give the Tax Reciept to him? Will it make any problems to me?
2. Also we have not legally did an agreement for the RENTING of that bulding. Does it will cause any problems?
Please advice.

Has anybody ever bought real estate and then rented out each room individually? Do you generally make more money this way or is it about the same as if you rented it out to a tenant? I know Don Barden began to create his wealth that way. I figure this would work best in areas of low income people, and college students. Probably risker but is the markup greater?

i had signed a letter of employment with my former employer, which states that I will be placed on 3 mths probation, entitled to 2 weeks annual leave, and must give 2 weeks notice when resigning. From common law principles, i understand that when 3 mths is reached, the contract is deemed to be completed, and a new one must be offered. and so as at end of the 3rd mth no notice is necessary since the contract is already completed? Am i right one this point? However the Act states that notice must be given. so which law takes precedence? Also, it states that pro-rated leave is entitled for service of more than 3 mths, which that cheapskate refused to give me. Who can i turn to to get my money back? also, this happened 3 mths ago. do i still have legal entitlement?

since 2005 have been fired twice once for not meeting stats and the other for absences my car broke down anyway should i put that i was fired on an application because one of the jobs i have 2 years there and it looks good as far as longevity there but i was fired any help would be great

If I change my status from dependent to independent, does it cost me anything? ie, 2006 I'm dependent, 2007 independent. My parents have never taken out a PLUS loan for me, although they did pay part of spring 07 tuition. I've made ~$12,000 this year, and that does not include the loans and scholarships that pay for my tuition. All my parents pay now is the cell phone bill. I am soon to be 20.

I just gave birth to my son a month ago. My mother and I got into an argument this evening and she blurted out that she is claiming my child on her income tax refund because I live with her. My boyfriend and I are moving out within the next two months. We're not married but him and I are still together and we decided that he would claim our son.

My mom also says that she's claiming me. I'm 18 years old.

Can my mom claim my son? Can she claim me? I'm not working at the moment so I cannot claim myself nor my son. What are the laws as far as her claiming my son is concerned?

I am a writer who writes mostly for non profits but I don't want to limit myself. I have spent most of my career working for non profits but decided to take an new path to begin writing. The type of writing that I have done has been to help further the mission of those organizations whose values I respect. my friend asked me to join WFG(world finance group), shall I ? I will start out as an advisor perhaps with at least 1 certificate, so I have to get certificate before joining the group. A couple nights ago I heard a noise in my ceiling and my husband went into our kitchen to get a drink and a rat jumpedout at him. We dont live on the greatest end of town, but we are very clean infact my husband is OCD. Of course we grew concerned and called our landloard,and she said " I would advice you to buy a mouse trap". Is this legal? Isnt she responsible for maintaining all health codes? I would say this is a health issue.
Also, our lease is up in September, so if we don't fix the problem and move out of this discusting house can she keep my deposit?

I wanted to know how much do you think home sellers here in miami florida will lower there selling prices. For example, someone is selling there house for $800,000 its a 5/3...its been on the market for quite sometime lets say like 4 months..since the market is pretty much stagnant how much do you think they would lower the price...( or how much can i negotiate off the selling price) i know there is certain circumstances but I wanted just to get an estimate...thanks so much
