We just moved into our first house, and we've been here almost 3 months. Last week we discovered the floor around the toilet is rotted. Will any kind of insurance cover this, or simply a case of buyer beware? We had the home inspected previous to the purchase and the inspector did not catch it, apparently. Thanks for reading.

I just enacted a stop payment on my checking account to my Home Owner's Association. I did this because my sprinkler system (maintained by the HOA) hasn't been working for over a year. I have an email string a year old, in which correspondence between myself and the HOA property manager has shown this to be a problem. In my last email, I informed her (the HOA manager) that I will be placing a stop payment on my HOA dues in an attempt to recoupe a service I've been paying for, but am not getting any benefit from.

Can someone tell me whether or not I'm likely to deal with legal problems due to my action? How easy it for them to place a lien on my property? I'm hoping the emails, which document the problem, will give me a leg to stand on should the issue go to court.

Thank you!

I used to work for a billing company and if they got a superbill with aprimary diagnosis that they knew an insurance company would not pay for, ie. mental problems, hair loss, obesity, but the doctor put other problems, say hypertension, they would list the medical diagnosis and omit the non covered ones. I think this is insurance fraud. If so, how could an audit be done anonymously? I would love to close them down. You can tell I have a beef with this company.

ok here is the question i have been asked:

"If you had to pick ONE answer which would it be? ....to come to work late or would you steal from the company?"
i answered "come to work late"...but i asked my friend the same question and he said the correct answer would be to choose "neither" and say that both of the answers are bad answers and that i cannot answer the question! but if that is true, wouldnt the employer think that i coudnt make a decesion?

Hi all,

Just wondering what the limitations are on eBay as far as selling and "making a second income" goes. I would like to do this..."under the table"...and not have to worry about reporting my sales to the tax man, etc.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Zeke

A department in Best Buy Corporation has adopted the flexible work day policy where employees are free to come and go as they please. The constraints of 9-5 are done away with, but all that is required is that projects get finished on time.

My ex wife & bought our Laminate Wood Floors from "Floors Today" and financed the material and the installation through them. The offer was no interest and no payments for 1 year. It's been almost 2 years now and either of us is yet to see a bill.

How long does this company have before they are not allowed to bill us (due to the laps of time)?
