Do u believe the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) was good for america?

and why

Yes. I grew up in the area. Significantly controlled flooding, which used to wipe out thousands of acres of farmland every year. Also, a by product is that about 15% of the electricity in that area comes from hydroelectric dams. All the man-made lakes in the area have contributed to the economy (tourism).

Finally, some of the rivers and lakes are now dependable enough for cheap transporation.
