No job, just living off investments?

I have a circuit city store credit card i got it to buy a home computer and that's it. Would it be wise to cancel the credit card or to keep it? Which scenario if any would end up hurting your credit score?

My internet provider took out an automated payment. They themselves agree that I have never set up automated payments, though I have made online payments, which is how they have my info. Now I owe the bank insuficient funds fee and the provider will not pay up. Can I do anything about it? Is it worth it?

Serious answer will be appreciated.

My fiance and i are moving out of our townhome in october.

We don't have good enough credit to buy a home so we were looking to rent a house.

We came across this beautiful duplex .. one side of the duplex said "Buy Or Lease".

What steps do we have to go through to lease this?
Harder to lease then to rent a home?
Is it pretty much like renting except the money goes towards buying it?

Any info would be great, thank you.

Recently caught my attention when I was applying for personal loan. The loan lady said that I am not qualified, cos there is negative item reflecting on my credit report. It's medical collection. I had never received bills from the medical group. It was about treatment provided to me since 2004! Now the over due debts had turned over to the collection agency, and they also had never sent me a bill for it. When I called the original creditor, they cannot handle my debts anymore. When I call the collection people up, all they want is the full payment without providing me more details on the debt. I was mad cos they ruin my credit behind my back without me knowing at all. Can anyone suggest if it's a good first step to dispute it with credit bureau first. I think, at least the Bureau can force them to dig in to more legitimate info about this debt before I pay.

Does anyone know how earnest money received out of breach of contract is reported on the seller's income tax? If I was selling a property and the buyer posts (non-refundable) earnest money of $100,000 and backs out how would I report the money received on my taxes? Please site references

Hey yal I'm only 14 but I turn 15 in December and I really need a job. I need a job so I can pay for a school trip which is very expensive. Don't confuse this with www.freecreditreport.com or www.annualcreditreport.com, these sites are reputable and it is the goal of creditreport.com to confuse you.

You have to sign up for their crediit monitoring to get your "free" report and credit score. That is pretty standard with the other 2 sites as well but the problem starts when you try to cancel, especially if you kept the service for any length of time after the free trial. They will do anything to try and retain you, they even have a retention department dedicated to doing just that. A call to cancel is worse than a trip to the dentist, then after you think you have cancelled, billing continues as usual.

They claim to have no information about confirmation numbers that they themselves gave you and they claim you never cancelled.
I have reported them to the BBB and everyone else I can think of, I urge anyone else who has dealt with this company to do the same.

These are my own personal experiences, do you have any?

I have a negative account on my credit report that is affecting me in a negative way. This was reported way back in 2001 and I paid the account in full in 2002 but the bank continued to report that it was unpaid till I recently disputed with them. They finally changed it from unpaid to paid after a charge off. I really want this information removed from my credit report since its so old. I have asked the credit buraus to remove this three times but they have not done it. What are my options at this point? Please tell me what I need to do to get this peace of information removed from my credit report. Thanks

I leased a home in a residential community with 12 other homes on the property in a small corrupt town in Texas. The owner sold the property after I moved out. I tried to file a lawsuit in the county I live (& leased ) the home in. MY county says to file in the county HE lives in & vice versa. I have written him several letters and sent him a certified letter demanding the return of my deposit. I have come to find out he owes a lot of people money for their deposits. I think that is why he sold the property. My deposit including pet deposit was $1000. I am entiltled to 3x that amount since it wasn't returned in 30 days nor did I receive a letter with any deductions. I have everything documented and I can't really afford an attorney. I know that I need to file a lawsuit, but where?

Ok I receieved a bill from a credit card today and it had a balance of $160...the thing is i never even called to activate the card and I didnt use it...I called and cancelled the card but I am scared now because what if the hackers or who ever got my credit card number in the first place steal more of my information... Could that happen? Could they steal my S.S number? Am i going to have to change it? What can I do please help I am going through a rough time 8-(
