I co-signed on a car for my sister to help her out. The loan has about 10,000 dollars left on it and the bank is going to repo the car. I know my credit will be TRASHED, but will the bank garnish my wages or repo some of my property or will they go after her? I know what they can do, but what will they more than likely do? I talked to the guy at the auction they would probly get about 3,000 for the car still leaving like 7,000.

My son told me my daughter was fired from Walmart for dating her manager. Why would they do that? How serious is it? Her manager boyfriend was terminated too. So whats the deal? Anyone know anything about it?

My daughter dies last month and I had a $10,000 life insurance policy on her. (only because is was a basic offer with my own policy.) Anyway, I want to invest this money for her little sister so when she gets older she will either be set for life or at least be able to live off the intrest. Does anyone have any ideas about how to go about doing this.

I got a best buy store card recently & discoverd I had "debt protection". Even after I told the Rep 4 times I didnt want it while she was trying to explain it to me. Her boss just said "I must have signed for it" even if I signed in the wrong place. He basically called me stupid right to my face. Then I got a letter says I hadnt signed for it & that it would be credited back to my account. When i tried to pay Pay online HSBC told me "my SSN was invalid"! At this point when I called them they had entered the wrong SSN & apparently it was a valid number becasue i had used the card by then. So should I pay this card off & just cut it up?

i have a car loan and checking account with suntrust...
was behind on car payments...
called the car loan people to tell them not to withdraw money out because i was gonna pay within the 12 day window...
they agreed and i was gonna get a month extension....
paid on friday, withing the 12 day window...
had to borrow $300 from a friend to cover the $451 that one of my bills take out of my bank every month...
checked the bank online statement on tues night...
found out they took $282 out on mon even tho i paid on tues following the agreement i had with them...
now because of that i got in the negatives...
penalty fees added up and now i got almost $300 in penalty fees and -$600 on the account....
i called the bank and loan department explaining the situation and all the loan department cared about is getting my money and didn't care that i had an agreement....
couldn't get any fees back either...
should i say screw them and not pay n switch banks or try to pay...

I can understand selling a year or so later. But if a landlord rents to someone, and then shows the place within weeks after you've moved in, most likely they had plans to sale whne you moved in. So, how did you respond? Did you ask the landlord why they weren't upfront, and didn't bother to let you know until weeks before having to show the place, or did you know until they had to sale the place, or did you not say any more than necessary?
