we started talking about overtime. I said that I would enjoy my job more if I was not required to work as much overtime (being that I am not getting paid as I am exempt). Their opinion was that as a “Professional” I am expected to work overtime. How do you feel about this? Do you agree with my coworkers? Can you label anyone as a “Professional” and expect them to work overtime regardless of their salary?

I think it might boost my score because these two cards only have a limit of $200 and $700 respectively. Both paid off in full, but I have two other credit cards that have 25K limits so I dont need these stupid cards. Should I close them? I think the avail balance on them is too low. I've had them both for less than a year. My goal is to boost my credit score. Thanks for your input

I started working at Wendy's as a crew member when I was 14.
I am still under 18, and I can not become a manager there. I have been at Wendy's for a long time now, and it seems like it will be forever until I turn 18.

Does anybody know of any restaurants (for chains, my ZIP is 49024) that have a step above an entry level crew position where you don't have to be 18?
It doesn't have to be a manager. Maybe a trainer or some sort of supervisor.

Thanks!

I'm considering buying a house in Austin, but I dont know anything about the neighborhoods, traffic, crime, pollution, flooding areas, etc etc. What do you think is the best way to go about making this kind of decision (short of visiting) -- i will be visiting soon, but I wanted to do some research to narrow the scope. Thanks for your input!

My husband and I are looking into buying our first home (we currently live in an apartment but have a baby on the way). The home we are looking at is a new build. It is $115,000. This would be our first home. We don't have much saved p because we weren't really planning on buying a home so soon. Are there any special programs/loans for first time home buyers? We have decent credit (660's).

We make about $40,000/yr combined income (I work part time). Is this house something that we could afford when interest/insurance/etc payments are included? We have no debt.

Hello,
I'm interested in a career in the pharmaceutical industry, but I'm already a college student and a biology major. I do not want to change schools or majors, and I do not want to become a full-fledged pharmacist (too much school, haha). I was wondering what kind of training I would need in order to do something involving pharmacy. I think a bachelor's in biology will help me alot, but I want to concentrate on this area mostly.

Does anyone have any advice?

Analysts are basically full of beans, because all of the so-called "negative factors" that are supposedly crashing the market today were just as present last week.

I have been told it can be done if, a company is set up or if the person gives the property to the loved one before the person dies, although this has to be done 7 years in advance of death.
