I am a single 24 year old recent grad. I gross $3200 a month, my total bills are about $800 a month. My current rent is $465. I am about to take on a second job which will give me about an extra $500 a month. I plan to save about 3/4 of this new income, and pay the rest on my debt, I have a credit card with $2000, new car loan $30, 000 and $26, 000 student loan. I am going to defer my student loans until I have about 1or 2 years left on my car loan. Should I continue renting or start looking for a house, I hate my current apartment complex?

I just did the closing and find out that real interes rate for thsi mortgage is 9.25 % . It's a 5 year arm. I wander if any1 knows when and where in the document during the processing ( not a closing) lender or brouker should specify the real INteres rate not an option for 5 years. Is truth in lending under APR should have the real rate or the introduction rate?
Thanks for the help.

recently, my husband has been checking for homes that have been foreclose, but I think that everything is bs. That there are not homes that actually cost $30,000 for a four bedroom house that was build in 2002. Is it true?
In advance thanks for the answers.

I'm an 18 year old freelance writer and web designer from Michigan. From January-June of this year, I've made about $3000. I anticipate making another $1000. How much in taxes will I owe to the government?

I don't think the owners have been paying on it. So it may go into foreclosure I want to find out because I'm interested in the house. Where do you go to look?

Is there a time period within a 24 hour period, where the whole world sleeps together? Or when its very early morning in one part of the world and late night/morning in another? The reason why I am asking this, is because I want to know the best time to update my website - i want to update it at a time where people are less likely to be online! If that makes sense... My content is Travel News ...

Thank you!

I work at an eye doctor's office in Kansas in a town that hasn't yet banned smoking in public or anything of that sort. We have just one smoker in our office who takes her regular 10 min smoke breaks twice a day (without abusing them), who has been doing this for her 7 years of employment. The office manager recently took her into her office with our head doctor and basicaly told her she needed to quit smoking the reason being her coughing fits. (Which is a combo between smoking and her severe allergies, and which do not happen but maybe once or twice a week for maybe 2-3 minutes.) They then tried to get her to sign a document saying she had to quit and "try to control her out-of-control coughing", which she refused. Then the next day took her back with a second doctor and tried again to get her to sign the document.
Do employers have a legal right to change employee's habits? I could not find any info pertaining to such circumstances, and would appreciate any help.

i went on an interview with a pretty big name company last week tuesday, they said they would be making a decision soon on the position, but i havent heard from them, nor have any of my references been called for verification. Does that mean I didn't get the job? The job required everything I'm doing now except the company is bigger and has more opportunities, so I know I'm qualified, but just want to know if they normally take more than a week or since they said soon they meant asap?

I am moving to a very small town and it seems the two major realty companies don't get along and won't work together. I am interested in homes held by both companies, but given the situation, I won't have any representation for myself. Any advice about protecting my own interests?

At a time when realtors are begging people not to go the for-sale-by-owner-route, you'd think this wouldn't be an issue.

We moved into a place, we never got a lease to sign after asking quite a few times to sign one. We verbally agreed to stay a year. Very noisey people moved in below us a couple weeks later and we complained a few times. Nothing was ever done about it. It got to the point where I felt threatened by the neighbors below..it was just me and my 6 month old alone during the evening. We ended up giving our 30 day notice after 2 months of living there. We kept in touch with the land lord and kept calling him to find out about getting our deposit back and he made it sound like he would get it back to us. So now three months later and no deposit back we filed a law suit today. Then we just got a letter today with them saying that we broke our lease and that we owed them $1400 for the 2 months that they had to find someone to live there but it was only 1 month and they said that we never gave them any notice that we were leaving and we did give them a 30 day notice. Who would win in court?

i recently worked a 2 month temporary assignment in illinois. i'm a resident of california. i noticed that my recruiting agency has withheld quite a lot for illinois state taxes. i would assume since i am not a resident of illinois, i'm not eligible to file a tax return. i also have to pay taxes on that income in california. am i entitled to get that money back from the recruiting agency? what do i do?

In a nutshell, i was with my boss and antoher coworker. we were supposed to have a celebration on monday and we then decided we would do it on tuesday. He kept asking this other coworker if he thought people would mind (the other coworker (like myself) should his head like 'ofcourse not' b/c it really wasn't a big deal. So I said with a smile and very professoinal "Why would you imagine they would mind?" Well, it was a genuine question, then he looked at me and said "Its a consensus, Mary, it's called a consnensus." He said it in such a condescending tone i felt red and embarrased. What would you do. Thanks to everyone for their guidance.

My attorney says, lots of "new" people at patent office.
Lots of problems, turn-over, dissatisfaction. Does this sound truthful? My "design" patent is VERY simple to understand. It is unbelievable that anything NEW should take 28 months and still know NOTHING.
I heard in Canada it only takes 12-14 months max. anybody know?
Thanks.
