can someone tell me exacly how much tax is taken out of a dollar i make, luike state income tax, federal, ss

Yes, this is true for Federal income tax as well. The more you make, the more they take. In OH, go to http://tax.ohio.gov/documents/forms/ohio_individual/individual/2006/PIT_IT1040_Instructions.pdf

and on page 28 is the tax table. You can look up what they take per year. The federal government has a similar set up. The more you make, the higher your tax bracket is. You can look on the IRS website to see how much you have to pay.

Get? You mean pay? The more money you make, the more tax you pay.

If you do mean "get", as in getting a refund, any refund is just returning what you've overpaid, so that would depend on how much you paid in, not your income.
