In 2006 we replaced our furnace and air conditioner with an energy star rated system as well as our windows. I heard there is up to $500 in tax credits for energy saving measures in Wisconsin. Is this true? How do I get this info? I have the proof of purchases, but what else might I need?

Why dont managers exploit relationships instead of condemming them.

By this I mean instead of being cross why not get sneaky as say.

If you two get your quotas done on time or quicker or sell extra stuff or sort something out to a higher standard...

15 minutes in the paper cupboard...

then let them flirt/ wear sexy stuff.

Surely efficency would go up 500%

i' m an introvert. i never let anyone know my thinking. I work spontaneous by my nature. i never request rewards. Now i find it hard to even talk to my boss & demand things. To me, requesting a reward is not a reward. I m currently searching for a new job.

I am going to be quitting my job of 6 months. I can't stand my boss. I don't think I'll be getting a reference from her, but it's very important that I have some. I didn't have a good relationship with her, 3 other people left in the space of 9 months since she started, I'll be the 4th one. She makes me so nervous that I've made a few mistakes (nothing that could not be fixed, but not good either), so I know she won't be saying positive things about me. I can't leave it off my resume either as its my first career position. She's a bad manager, and we're a bad fit together.

My problem is -- how do I portray references? I have a VP reference, along with a couple of peer references from this company. I have a management reference from my previous job. It will look strange that I don't want to give a reference from my immediate supervisor at this job however, and I can't use the excuse "they don't know I'm searching" as I'll be quitting without another job lined up. Any ideas?

My mom said her accountant said she didnt, but I'm not sure. She receives a check for sister since my father died. I know my inlaws dont have to file at all because they only have social security income. But my mom has a job. She wants me to do her taxes this year but I'm not sure about the social security.

What I am interested in is a service that I can tell what my long and short term goals are - have my paycheck and other misc money deposited into an account - and have them handle paying my bills and investments for me - without me ever having to touch it. (of course what they would have to deposit $ into a personal account for me to use for my own personal use - ie groceries, gas, clothes, ect.) I can work wonders on creating a budget - and it all looks great on paper - however I have never had much luck with following through. I have set up seperate accounts to have money put in with the intentions of having bills paid out of it and using it for nothing else....but eventually I end up slacking on that too. Has anyone ever heard of such a service? Or even a company that might do something similar?

Is it true that some trading strategies that worked well 20 years ago now don't work, or give much less profits, due to having many people doing the same with the advent of Internet brokers?

For example Zack's and Reuters earnings estimates have lost their snap, even Julian Robertson of Tiger Management and Michael Steinhardt, suffered severe losses in the 90s. John Templeton has had reduced earnings.

My ex and I bought a "Historic" house out here in AZ a year ago in a neighborhood that isn't in the safest of neighborhoods, actually it's gotten worse. We have gotten a divorce and we want to sell the house because neither of us want it now. We've contacted many buyers like "We buy ugly houses" and others like it, but they won't touch it. Is there anything we can do to get rid of it without taking a huge hit in the wallet?

In Canada, if your parents have a debt when they die, is this debt automatically transferred over to the children? I know their home will be sold and what not to try to cover it, but what if their assets do not cover the outstanding balance? Will the children be left with the debt? Does it make a difference if they have a will?
