I know most stores accept most major credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) but I know that not all stores accepted American Express. Just wondering if anybody had a list of what stores did??

I'd say about 99% of the stores in the developed world accept American Express as a form of payment. There are smaller retailers that do not accept it because it costs more money through the store's merchant program.
I know Carls Jr. and maybe Quiznos does not accept Amex, but I can't think of another store offhand. Basically anywhere Visa and MC are accepted, Amex will be too.

Such a list would be in the millions of names of stores. I found that having such a list really interfered with my PC's performance, and that the hard copy was too awkward to reference or to carry in my wallet.

Macy's, Target, sears, walmart. Most stores do

It would be easier to list which storers DON'T accept AmEx. but still would be a very long list.
