So I got laid off from microsoft right before xmas and due to health problems affecting being at work was fired from FedEx today..whats the best way to break it to them..realize I am 23 y/o and they are both males 28 and 34.

I didn't understand what u meant by corporate or military. Why are u so concerned about your roommates reaction? Be honest. That is all. It is what it is. There is no any other easy or right way.
Ok Now I understand why u r concerned. It's about the money.
Well, show it to them that u r serious and concerned. And why did you lose your job? Are there deeper issues. Life's full of challenges, and part of living is about learning and getting better everytime. Life's not easy. It's not a bed of roses. Let's hope ur roomies will understand that.

I think we would need a little more background on it but more than anything...BE HONEST! It would also help if you had a plan on how to correct the situation (putting in applications, sending out resumes, coming up with a plan to pay your portion of the bills)
