I've been looking at things such as the balance sheet, cash flow statements ect... In an effort to understand the health of a particular company.

Unfortunately, when trying to reconcile the numbers, in many cases unable to do so. Also they throw in some terms that just don't make any sense or look to hide things.

Are there any good books or sites to explain these numbers?

I've been looking for work on-line and have received alot of offers from UK companies looking for people to use their checking accounts as a way of changing money for a 10% payout fee. Is this a scam? What am I not seeing here? I'm of the school that if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have found a home I'd like to purchase and do not have a Realtor. Since all the front end work is done, can I negotiate with the selling Agent the commission? Can I ask for her to give me the 3% the buying agent would get? Should I instead approach another Agent and offer them a dollar amount to represent me and I get the 3% commission?

Until I make a larger profit and am able to invest in a website, and advertising the site as well as other more traditional means of advertising I need to find a low cost way to market. I have had some success on ebay. None on craigslist. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have an interview at 4pm tomorrow. It is in a bad section of a city (not from this city). I would like to reschedule for another day at a earlier time. I would hate to get lost on my way home since by then it will be dark. The secretary told me this is the time her supervisor wanted to meet with me on Wednesday.
If I have to go at 4pm I may just skip this job opportunity. Employers use to ask you about several interview times, now they just tell you when to come for the interview-which is obnoxious.

I am anemic and always cold and because I know that I take it into account especially during the winter...I wear layers of warm clothes and keep sweaters and jackets with me at all times...there is a lady in my office that LOVES cold weather and always turns the heat down so the temperature is literally in the 50's...it gets to the point where I have to put on my winter coat, gloves, hat and a scarf to function...I realize that I am anemic but I think the office should be kept at a comfortable temperature, the other employees get cold also but not nearly as cold as I get since their systems hold heat, we have all complained about it in the past but she never listens.

I live in Illinois and have a contract longer than 3 months with my realtor. However, and ex-realtor told me that by law in Illinois a realtor selling agreement can only be for 3 months so this one is no good. Is that true?

I moved to Philly and informed my work. They said they filed it but it was somehow rejected most likely because they did it wrong. So I have lived in Philly without paying city wages tax for a year!!
