Call your Realtor, they would be more than happy to supply this information to you on a regular basis as the homes come out on the lists.
I read some of the other answers to this question and I am astounded that most people are not aware that people such as myself (A realtor) DO received updated every 7 days lists of the Notices of default, and other information pertaining to these homes, why wouldn't we want to share them for free to people who want to unknowingly buy homes at market value under the following conditions? (As someone else pointed out in another answer)....
When it comes to the point that the bank owns the property, they will certainly want full market value for the house, (WHY NOT? DO you think the banks are STUPID?) the bank will not make any repairs, the former occupants were likely in there trashing the house they were losing, and lastly, you cannot get a clear title, so why WOULD you truly want to buy one of these homes? And can you get good financing on a trashed unclear titled house?

As a general rule, free information about foreclosures is usually outdated and not reliable. Situations with foreclosures change on a daily basis. You should look into quality web-sites that list foreclosure properties. You should also contact your local court office to find out where foreclosure sales are posted.

Pick your location county and state for purchase then go to the county recorder. They will have the information. Look up the taxes at the treasurer and the evaluation at the assessor while you are there. That will tell you if there are any recorded liens for weed (upkeep) or EPA (chemical spills). If you buy a foreclosed property, the liens from the FEDGOV usually transfer so be careful.

Try one of the free trial sites. THat's the best you can do. If you want quality that is your only choice. What is free in this country anymore anyways.
