Sounds like a double standard if you ask me...

Need help, how do not-for-profit organisations provide for needs and wants better than for-profit organisations?
I kind of understand the needs part, needs are essentials such as health or education, but how do not for profit organisations provide for wants? Wants are things that imporve the qaulity of life such as tvs and pcs ect.
Thanks

Ok so basically I have a credit card, car insurance, and a cell phone. I pay off the car insurance and cell phone bill perfectly every money. Now as for the credit card(500 dollar limit), it's been pretty much maxed out every two weeks since i've got it, BUT, what I do is I pay about 60 to 90 percent of it every two weeks and max it out again and continue the cycle. I've had the credit card for about two months so far and have spent and payed off over 1,000 dollars. I always pay way over the minimum ballance, but not the full balance. I was wondering if i'm building credit the right way. Keep in mind I turned 18 in September and I am just building credit so hopefully it won't be to hard to get a car after 6 months of using my credit card that way.

Please help...
My partner works in a small office of 8 people investing stock for retired people. He has no financial background but is getting a masters in public administration. His boss who hired him knew of this but could tell how intelligent he is & knew that he just needed training. He was told that sufficient training would be provided.

Problem:
The training that was promised is NOT THERE. Worse, the woman who is training him is VERY nasty & unhelpful to the point where he doesn't want to ask her anything because he feels like a burden.

My advice was this: He should not let the woman's "figure it out yourself" attitude get to him & ask any & ALL questions until he feels comfortable. If problems persist, he should respectfully approach the "boss" (there's no HR manager, just 2 owners of the company) & inform them of the situation / how he feels.

Is that bad advice? I don't think he should quit because all he needs is training.

Columbia House sent me a letter saying my account was past due. They said they sent me a dvd that I ordered. And that I have not paid. But I did not order a dvd. And I have received nothing. They said if I didnt pay the bill that they may report me to the national consumer reporting service.

There are a couple of questions I've always had some trouble with that are always asked. I try to plan ahead for them, but I just never seem to find an answer I'm comfortable with.
1. Tell me about yourself. My question? What exactly is it you want to know? What kind of information do you want?
2. What did you not like about your last job/boss? I always thought it was inappropriate to say negative things about your previous employer in an interview. My resume says who I worked for last, so I thought it was unprofessional to say negative things about it. How do you handle this question?

Our home has been on the market for over a year and we just have no luck selling it. We have had it listed with 2 different listing agents and had 0 offers thru them. In fact they never shown it once. We have tried selling it ourselves and have had quite a few calls on it, but we don't seem to be able to get anyone to walk through it. I know if we could get someone to go through it, we would get some offers. My wife has done some extensive work on the inside and it looks amazing. I never offer a price over the phone when they call because at this point I am willing to really negotiate a price. We owe 8k on it and would be willing to take a loss because we found a house we really want to buy. Any advice would be great, thanks

If you could help me out with this questionaire that would be very helpful and i would be awfully greatful.

[[Right ive got to create 8 questions for people to awnser about there job but on the subject of motivation, such as {what motivates you in ?hairdressing?} like that!]]

I have to start off with the first one saying [[What is your job title]] so that would be Q1. If you could help me by giving me the jist with some questions that would be mostly appreciated and the best one would obviously get 10 points.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

My husbands place of work called my phone and threatened and cussed at him on our answering machine. Is there anything saying that owners can't just call employees phones and cuss? Oh and can owners fire you for not coming in on a day that your not scheduled? And can they say you quit because you don't go in on a day your not scheduled?
