i am thincking of starting up my own intruder alarm company in the bradford west yorkshire area, i am qualified in this trade but i am only 21 doe s anyone think this will br a disadvantge to the company. i believe people charge to much in the industry and i feel i can beat other companys for price and even quality i just feel people may not take me as serius as older people. i have 6 years experiance and i am very abitious what do u guys think?

I would learn to spell correctly before i even considered a career in alarm`s ( or anything else for that matter ) !

Go for it...if you are as good as you say then word will get around. Don't be tempted to give discounts for your first customers cos all their mates will want to hvae their alarms fitted at teh same price. Work out how much it will cost you, add your profit margin and stick to the price. Quality is always worth paying for

Tthere are a lot of young people that do their own businesses. and do well, but in the business world you need to spell correctly as well as punctuation. capital letters etc.
