I am stuck in a career rut at the moment. I have financial worries and got married last year, but have been looking for a new job for the past 6 months with absolutlely no success. I have two degrees. One is a BA Hons and the other an MSc. I have 5 years year employment experience but always get knock abcks for the jobs I am interested in. Tried recruitment agencies and they always put me in touch with menial, low paid jobs. I I am feeling pretty low, and feel the longer this goes on, I will become more depressed. The physical signs are already beginning to show, I have put on a lot of weight. I do not know where the next job I want is goinf to come from. I do not know what I can do to turn things around, and get out of this low paid, uninspiring job. I have considered re-training but that would involve money which I do not have at the moment. I always struggle to pay bills. I dread to think what might happen if this situation does not get better. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

I badly want to be a VIDEO-CLIP or COMMERCIAL director, and then maybe go into the movies business (just maybe). I'm currently studying Radio & Television with a minor in Marketing in my local college, nothing too professional.

What should I study after that and where? I need to gain the skills! I know I have to work my way up to it, but how do I pursue my dream? What steps and goals should i put for myself?

I received several payday loans with my boyfriend's money as a way to repay these loans. My boyfriend moved out, but the loans are in my name through my bank account. How do I get out of this dilema?

I'm trying to find a good basic financial planning software program that can help me keep up with household accounts and expenses. I would also like to learn about (beginner level) investing. I am looking for a software program or programs that can do this that other people like and have tried successfully. I've read reviews of various programs on a few major consumer sites and I find myself more confused than when I started. I need to balance the checkbooks, do taxes, calculate interest, watch regular payments and try some beginning investments. I'd really appreciate any ideas and direction you can point me in. Thank you!

I received a job offer from this company:
http://uk-smart-money.info/smart-transfer.html
I have tried to look them up, but I just can't be sure about them? Anybody know anything about them? Are they a scam? I definitely don't want to apply if they rip people off.

I have rung NTL multiple times to report that my telephone line is faulty. As my NTL line is faulty I cannot call for free from my NTL landline. When I call from a non-NTL line, I am charged for two minutes call before being told that there is a waiting time of approximately half an hour!
Surely it would be more helpful if NTL stated the waiting time at the start of the call? It may also be helpful to suggest a time to call back when the call centre is not as busy? A system where they call me back would be even better.
Initially I wanted to have my telephone line fixed, but such a lack of customer care convinced me to write to them and close my account with NTL. They have made no attempt to appease me and I have now received a letter from a Debt Recovery company asking for £40. The letter doesn’t tell me what it is for and I have had no communication from NTL regarding any outstanding payments?! The saga continues…
Has anyone else had problems with NTL?

as a second person, well she never told me that she did and that was three years ago. The only reason I found out was b/c I was checking my credit score. I confronted her about it, and she said she thought I knew. How do I get my name removed and make them remove off any negative points that I got with the card without getting my mom in trouble? The card is still active with a balance of $973. I'm trying to clean up my credit so I know removing that will help.

I'm a recent graduate looking to buy a property in Turkey.
I don't have the option of remortgaging as I don't own a house.
I asked my bank about getting a personal loan/mortgage of between £25k and £35k but they won't lend money if it will be used to purchase property abroad.

Can anyone give me some advice?

I have seen sites like this one:

http://www.hihcorp.com/site/prog_income.htm

http://www.webuyhouses2.net/custom/index.cfm?id=31288

They promise high returns on investments - some 10-12% without one having to become a landlord. What do you think of these? They say that your money is backed by real estate.

Is there any other way to get a decent return? I don't mean really high, but within that range- 10-12%, that is ?
