I won a judgement in the amount of $3600, the person I won the judgement against believes that he was in the right and therefore does not need to pay. I went to my local courthouse today and I filed for a payment hearing, at which I requested that he bring all his banking info, property he owns, vehicles and and his tax returns for the last 2 years. He has money, so it is not like trying to get blood from a stone, but he really believes that he is above the law. I would rather just get my money and be done with the whole thing, if anyone can direct me to a template of a letter to send him, or if you have any ideas of what I should do, please let me know. Thank you, Lynn.

Since I was a kid I have loved cooking and baking. I majored in hospitality in college, and I'm ready to move on. I want to open up a cafe that sells coffee, pastries, sandwiches, soups, and salads. How should I start this whole process? How would I start picking recipes, employees, signs, decor, etc.? (I have already found a place that i would like to rent for the cafe itself)

Some taxes have a more positive effect on the economy, while others are a drag. Which are the most efficient? Corporate, personal income, consumption, behavior modifying (gas, energy, alcohol) or others?

Please only educated responses. Thanks.

I'm just looking for some input to see how others would handle a serious situation such as this.

I've been unemployed for 4 years. I have also sent out over 950 resumes and have never received a call for an interview. Within this last four years I have graduated from college and I'm still continously submitting resumes.

I was finally contacted this evening by an airline for an interview. However, unless I find some miracle way of getting to New Jersey or Huston by the 30th of January, I will never get that chance because I am broke. My car is 12 years old and not really capable of making that kind of journey, with the possible exception of New Jersey because I live in Michigan. Since this is the only opportunity that has knocked in 4 years I'm in near tears if I cannot get there. I know there is a chance that I could get there, have the interview and not be selected anyway, but I'll never know that unless I try.

I was just wondering what anyone else would do to get there

I had to use my debit at the doctor today and that would put me behind. I am just hoping the gov doesn't try to cash the check tomorrow. I get paid tomorrow night, so I'm cool after that. Do you guys think they put a check through in as little as one week (or less)?

I started a new job on the 5th of December. I was filling in for someone who was having problems with their back. I met the secretary who was supposed to show me what needed to be done but every time we would sit down and she would explain I feel like it was rushed because she kept going back to her office. Two days later she informed me that the person with the hurt back is coming in to show me the ropes. But all that person did was make me confused. I was supposed to ask the person questions if I needed help but then the person stopped showing up for work. So I went back to the secretary. She was also sick and didn't seem like she wanted to assist me. Winter break started the 21st and we came back Jan 4th The secretary was not in and I had to ask the supervisor for help and he was supposed to help me But He was even more busy then the other two!!!! Today the secretary came back and the supervisor called me into his office at the end of the day and told me that I didn't have any skills
