I started a new job on the 5th of December. I was filling in for someone who was having problems with their back. I met the secretary who was supposed to show me what needed to be done but every time we would sit down and she would explain I feel like it was rushed because she kept going back to her office. Two days later she informed me that the person with the hurt back is coming in to show me the ropes. But all that person did was make me confused. I was supposed to ask the person questions if I needed help but then the person stopped showing up for work. So I went back to the secretary. She was also sick and didn't seem like she wanted to assist me. Winter break started the 21st and we came back Jan 4th The secretary was not in and I had to ask the supervisor for help and he was supposed to help me But He was even more busy then the other two!!!! Today the secretary came back and the supervisor called me into his office at the end of the day and told me that I didn't have any skills

He said Wednesday would be my last day. I felt like I worked my *** off there. When I was waiting for them to finish their meetings or what ever I wasn't sitting on my butt I would go around and ask everone else if they needed help with anything. I can't type well but I feel like I should have been given a chance. I was really hurt by all this. I don't want to work these last two days because I feel like I will get tearyeyed. Do you think I should go work the ;ast two days? Or make them suffer by making them finish all the work I was doing

I alos was holding some of the contracts aside because that is what he wanted me to do. But today when I showed him the contracts he looked mad. Like why was there such a huge pile.

I can see what happen that has nothing to do with you. Each person tried to pass the buck to the next person. They were not familiar with the person's who is out work. They made excuses to get out of the training because they did not know the answers to the questions that you were asking them.

Do your best for the few days that you have left there, write instruction down as they are given to you. If someone says anything about your work, inform them that xx told me to do it this way.

Do not take this job as a personal reflection of your abilities, it's them that are messed up and not you. POOR TRAINING AND POOR ORGANIZATION ON THEIR PART.

Finish the last two days. Prove to them that you're responsible and willing to learn even if they don't want to keep you.
What would you gain by not going? Some sense of "sticking it to the man"? If you go, at least you'll get paid.

Honor your commitment. You have to sleep with you, not them.
