How can i become a video game tester?

Yeah i was just wondering how i can become a video game tester and actually get paid to do it? If neone could help me out with some advice or personal experience on how i can get into the industry that would help as well.

Game producers advertise jobs like most companies do these days- on their web sites. Find a list of game producers that operate in your area, and click on the Careers page of their site; if there are any openings you can check the experience required and application procedures.

There are ways to make money playing the newest video games. There are several companies out there that are willing to send you currently being developed games, gaming consoles and products so that you can test them. Then you send them your input and they will send you payment. The only trick is getting a list of these companies.

most game testers dont play for the fun of playing anyomre they play to critique the games

Send your resume to video game companies and try to get hired... But really, it is not a job as fun as it sounds. The games will crash all the time.

Also most jobs in the video game industry are 60 hours+ per week.
