I'm often surprised that jobs with the least responsiblity, usually pay more than the opposite. What job were you most surprised to hear paid really well?

I know a young woman, pretty and pettite, who had a minor flaw. It was the kinda flaw that made her unique (to me anyway). She recently got the flaw surgically "fixed". I am not against anybody doing what they want to their own body. I am curious to know if this is becoming standard practice for attaining jobs.

Been shopping around in the market for a while and finally tripped on this whole UMB idea, and I like it. But now I have to wonder how much is a fair fee for the UMB broker that I pick. I have a generally tougher case than normal, I would be considered a sub-prime case. The purchase price of the property will be about $330K. I've read around that a normal fee would be around 2 points for broker... so does $6400 really sound fair for a broker to make on a deal? I mean it sounds high to me...

I work for a restraunt as a G.M. I make a small bonus at the end of the month but after my salary and bonus I make less than if I was just working for mininum wage, is that legal??? I work over 75 hours a week and my gross pay is only $1200 for two weeks....that is 150 hours for $8 an hour. But of you add all the overtime i would be making if I were making mininum wage..I would get paid...$300 a week regular time, $225 a week overtime, and $225 a week doubletime. That equals out to $1500 on mininum wage!! Just wondering if that is legal, any help would be great!!!!! Thanks

It's for an application form. It also tells me "Why was this effective?"... I'm not sure what to put, and how to put it. Any suggestions?

I've handled customer complaints about a hair in the food, so I just gave them another one. Is that a "exellent" service? .... ugg..... That's the only this I can remeber.... >_> I know I mihgt have done something....
Oh, there was this time where I was in the drive through team, and we provided the food and beverage so fast and efficiently with a friendly service, that the customer later called on the phone to say "how exellent customer service we have" Is that good?...

Oh help me thanx

I am renting a unit and the other day the owners turned up unannounced and wanted to look through the unit to see if anything needs doing

I thought they had to give at least 1 to 2 weeks notice, I know the real estate does

Do the owners have to give me notice of when they are coming or can they just turn up at any time?

Hello,

I was just wondering if I could talk to the American Accountants who has worked in Australia. I'm graduating soon and moving to Australia. I just wanna know your experience was? The difficulties you encountered? How did you land up an accounting job with an American degree? How should I prepare myself to practice accounting? Will I get the proper training or are they just going to throw everything and expect me to know everything?

I'm very nervous. It would be great if you can share your experiences and suggest something for myself?

Thank you!

I recently revised my resume and the new version is a big improvement. I've sent the old version of my resume to a few companies. I would like to send the new version to the companies who were previously sent the old version.

Below is the cover letter I plan to send with the updated copy of my resume. What do you think? Would you add any additional information?

Please keep in mind that my previous cover letter went into detail on why I was a good fit for the job. Also, keep in mind that the old resume was sent less than two weeks ago, so they should still have it on hand.

"Dear Mr Hiring Manager

I recently mailed you a copy of my resume for the XYZ position. Enclosed is a new copy of my resume that better highlights my skills and qualifications.

Sincerely,

John Doe"

Feeling lack of my fundamental financial knowledge and opportunity for better career within the firm, I am planning to go to college to receive BA in finance. Which will be the best school in New York City for working person, who can only take a class in the night and weekends? And if anybody already went through it, can you share your experience with me? I would like to get my degree in something I'd be able to use at home....I was considering majoring in business and minoring in accounting ...or vice versa. Any ideas??????? My parents have been supporting us ....and it's been awesome...but I really need to go out and get something for myself and for my daughter.

I have just sold a text book to someone through ebay's half.com. The buyer received the book and is now requesting a refund and he will send the book back. He said he dropped the class the book was required for and doesn't need the book. After thouroughly reading half.com's policies, I think that I don't not need to refund him. I have quite a busy schedule right now and having to go to the trouble to return the money and sell the book again not only takes more of my time, but I'm losing money I may need in the near future.

Do I legally have to give him a refund? I don't want to get in any disagreement where I have to spend more of my time.
