you get a basic salary and have a monthly target.

you're promised commission of 5% on billings. And if u hit target 3 months in a row, u get an extra 2.5%

Say for example you only bill half your monthly target. Shouldn't they still pay you 5% on what you bill?????

I think its unfair to not pay agreed commision even if u dont hit target?

Can anyone tell me if thats normal or not?

Google was nominated for being the best Employer in America: Reasons: they believe the work environment should be fun and not stiff. They pay a fair salary to their employees, give benefits, perks and re-invest in their employees. Google made huge profits, have low turn over rates, low number of days employees call off. Do you think other employers can learn from them in being successful?

I know it's possible, but I just need a bit of a career guidance as to where to start and whether I should start in a different sector and build up the experience from there.

I really am confused. Some say that a university degree is not essential because it's a sales job, and then when I enquire about it to a certain consultancy firm, they would tell me that they only accept graduates.

Please help. Realistic answers please.

I have signed a direct debit agreement with a club to pay 12 monthly amounts. I 'have' to pay all 12.

Problem is, a few months in, I'm moving to the other end of the country and so can't use the club anymore.

Now the owner of the club is reasonable, and hopefully will understand and cancel my DD. But to be pressemistic: can I do anything (such as close my bank account which I was planning on doing soon anyway) to stop the money being taken if he becomes awkward and trys to hold me to the agreement?

The space comes with a small kitchen(No hood or greese trap allowed) and bathroom. The usable open space is 29.5 by 22 feet and the entrance is street level to the left of a new downtown san diego condo complex lobby, www.icon-sandiego.com. There are over 3,000 parking spaces within 2 blocks and the ballpark is almost sold out 84 days a year and is on the other side of the block. What would be a good business to open in this space?
