First of all, you don't claim your wife. Your spouse is never your dependent whether she works outside the home or not. You either file a joint return with her or file separately. If you file separately, you will lose most credits that are available.

The standard deduction (amount you deduct from your income) is twice as high for Married Filing Joint (MFJ) so if you are married, that is the best option.

If you want to list both of your incomes, I can give you a basic idea of your refund. Otherwise, there is not enough information to specifically answer your question.

Well you won't owe more tax by filing jointly with your wife and claiming your child, rather than by filing separately.

Other than that, no conclusion can be drawn because we have no idea about what your income, deductions and credits are.

it depends on your income, for your whole refund

other than that, each dependant will deduct from the amount that you are originally supposed to pay, based on your income

deductions are a set amount. your income decides how much you originally owe
