Not too many these days. Landlords are getting burned on rent right and left and have to impose a deposit to protect themselves.
I used to be one and while I was flexible with the deposit (scattering it out over several months), I would still get burned more often than not.
Do you know how extremely hard it is to find QUALITY tenants? Tenants that are responsible with their money?
Very hard. And not a fun job to have to find one.

DJ and Steve:
The way that they can't pay the deposit is because they are like everyone else and living paycheck to paycheck... They can pay the rent, but not rent AND a huge deposit....
Actual answer: (Sorry, had to say that to those people who make way too much money and don't have to worry about saving a bunch just so you can move...)
Sorry, I unfortunately don't know anyone who doesn't take a deposit.... Good luck on your search.... :)

If you don't have enough money for a deposit (minimum 1 months, typically 3), how are you going to pay the rent ?

Not too likely! Thats pretty much common practice! You can always try to work something out with the landlord!
