Went back to work yesterday after the holidays. All was fine for the first hour, I.E we stood around discussing what we got up to at xmas etc, But then the rot set in, every minute seems like an hour and you'd rather be anywhere than there. Then oddly when you leave work your mood lifts and all is fine. Then back in today again, I'm a morning person but as soon as I get into work I am just completely pissed off, I spent today thinking how I could make money working from home but came up with nothing worth while.

I am a regional sales manager and my base salary with commissions works out to be about 2-3% of what my region is generating.

This seems super duper low to me. I manage approx 3.7 M currently.

I work for a firm as a contractor. I do not have taxes taken out of my checks. I also have not received a W9 or any tax info. My boss said he did not report me, but I am worried about this. What should I do about this? I have worked here 2 1/2 years. I dont know how much I have made....

I'm currently working as a cashier for $8 an hour and it just aint payin the bills so I'm desperatly looking for a steady decent paying job. I have never really had an "office job" before but I know about computers and bookkeeping and all that jazz. I've heard a few things about these temp agencies but I'm not really sure how it all works. Do you end up at a different job every day? Do they pay well? Do you have any say about where you will be working?

I know that I could contact one of these agencies and ask these questions but I want to hear from people who have actually done this. Thanks

I am actually very excited can this be true? the suspicious thing about it is that it asks 675$ to pay the check!

i got a phone call last night from a so called collection agency called portfolio management solutions . they said i have a phone bill from 6 years ago from bell canada. also they said we have to pay it to a company called code city coffin for 250.00. iwould like to know if this is a scam and also they told me they cant send out a bill but they can send out a release form. everything pans out what they are telling me but can they come after me after 6 years? please let me know as soon as possible thank- you

Hi guys,right im writing this arguement 'why its right to tax the rich a higher percentage when they earn other a certain amount then the percentage you get taxed under a certain amount. I think its like 20% below 30k, 40% above? Anyway could you post some reasons why it right to do it? I need to persaude someone who feels it is not right to tax differently as the rich have earnt their money. Whilst i agree, i have fundamental ideas, which i make me feel it is fair to an extent. I feel it creates more equality, and despite the common fact that noone no matter what they earn, wants to be taxed more; but quite honestly it is right to tax those more who can afford it? a fundemental idea of mine to back this up, is if taxes were all the same percentage, then for the government to bring in the same amount of revenue, they would have to increase the tax, meaning the lower earners suffered more from increased taxes, so surely its morally right tax high earners more? Thanks for ur view!
