If I was to have made $5000 this past year, how much would I expect to get back???

whatever was withheld you'll get back...PERIOD!

It depends on how much of your pay was with-held. That you determined when you were hired and completed your W-4 form. Check your last stub from your pay and see how much was witheld in total. Then check a tax chart online. and you will get an idea. It is possible that you could get back a lot or that you may have to pay if you did not have money withheld

If you're filing by yourself, you could expect to get back whatever was withheld for federal income taxes.

You might also be eligible for the Earned Income Credit, if you're between 25 and 64 or have a dependent child.

if you made $5000 this past year it all depends on what state your in and if your company took the appropriate amount of taxes out on you.. Other things you have to take into consideration is if someone claims you on there taxes or do you file individually. Prob my guess would be between 100 to 250 dollars maybe.....lotta things to take into consideration

It depends on how much was taken out for federal and state taxes. It also depends on whether someone else can claim you as a dependent. If no-one else can claim you, you will get back whatever they took out for Federal.
