What percentage should a regional Sales Manager be paid in regards to the size of the region? 3%, 5%,10%?

I am a regional sales manager and my base salary with commissions works out to be about 2-3% of what my region is generating.

This seems super duper low to me. I manage approx 3.7 M currently.

Probably depends on the margins but I would fight for 8% of the net income your area generates.
