direct deposit for my check, or does it have to come from a company?

i received rebate checks for some items i bought and was out of town when they arrived in the mail. since returning, they EXPIRED! i mean, they have a "void after XX date" printed on them and its after that date now.

do you know what the laws are around this type of issue, particularly in california? is there anything i can do to get a new check or somehow cash them in? thanks!

Is there a form I can fill out in order to prevent my childs father from illegally claiming my child on his taxes?? My child hasnt seen him in almost one year.... child support payments are jokes.... 11 dollar checks and what not...

By friday I need to have my friends christmas gifts I need money. I can try to do the chores but I don't get paid enough. i'm only 14 so I can't get a job.. So what do I do? I need it by like thursday and need to go to the mall ASAP.

Hi,

I'm in the process of dealing with documents that include very, VERY important, and I'd like to destroy them when I'm done with them.

When I say destroy, I mean DESTROY!

I bought a heavy duty cross-cut "confetti cut" shredder, but I would still like to do more to destroy the shreddings. Are there any chemicals (maybe household products) what would destroy or SEVERELY damage the shreddings? Do you have any suggestions on how I should proceed with burning the shreddings? Any advice helps. Thanks.

And by the way, please don't tell me to hire a professional shredding company, either. I'd like to deal with these docs myself.

Why do you think silver is better investment over gold/platinum?

Reason why i want to list my item rather than ebay:-
1. New policy wants sellers to be verified paypal user (this is how ebay wants to be the only online player)
2. New policy of crossborder communication (they want to make more money to list for seller to list at other sites)
3. Yearly increase of listing fees, sold fees etc.. (so many fees)
4. Customer service- treat all sellers or buyers like they own us.
(ask our personel details, Credit card, home address, phone numbers, etc2. )

We have alot of employees that clock in early or stay later and are actually working. I believe they should be paid. The policy says that you won't get paid for clocking in 30 minutes early or up to 15 minutes later. But this is against the Fair Labor Standards Act. The law states you should be paid for any time worked over 40 hours per week.
