Go to your real estate attorney. The one that did the closing when you bought your home. If you dont remember, or it was a long time, ask a friend who thier closing attorney was. They are very versed in Property law, and usually can answer questions like yours in their sleep. Have a plat of your lot with you (this can be obtained from your tax assessors office, and have a copy of your deed, because it will show any easments that go along with your plat of land.

Attorneys are expensive. You can't get around it. Did you ask your "access road" question here? Perhaps someone can give you an answer.

Type in "find a good lawyer". There are a few websites that hook up lawyers and clients, and they show their experience and credentials.
