make a decision as to where to invest the money for my retirement. I am 55 years old and I am not too knowledgeable about money investments. Do i put it in a Roth or CD's or an IRA or do i put it in mutual funds or an annunity? please someone advise.

I have been down with flu for the last 2 weeks. The problem is that I have been attending a workshop to start out a new computer system in my company and cannot afford to miss any sessions as everyday is a new project to run. But I have been really sick off and on with flu like sympthoms like running nose, cough, headache. I have kept going till today when I couldn't get up frm bed.. I called in sick but I felt so bad. How can I make up for the lost time?

Me and my hubby both have some negative credit issues from the past, we have a baby coming and don't really see how we can consolidate our debt and pay yet another monthly bill. We were thinking about filing and starting over fresh. Has any1 else done this and if so what pos or neg impact has it had on you(ie prevented you from getting a car, house or whatever) I know it takes awhile(like 7 years i think) to be to get exonerated from your credit record but after that were you able to obtain more credit easily? Please be descriptive in your answers we really want good info so we can make an informed decision if we should even look into it or not. Thank.

I prefer to e-mail my resume to potential employers. I am always sure to include an appropriate cover letter. When I have the phone number of the contact as well, I like to make a follow up call. Should I call immediately after sending and introduce myself, then let the employer know that I sent my resume? If not, how long should I wait? I do not want to annoy anyone, but I live in a very tough job market (Michigan) and I need to stand out.

Hello,
I want to start trading forex...and without experience I am not sure which site to use...Yesterday I've send money with my credit card to forex.com plus I send them scanned copy of my ID card, because they required to do so. I guess site with name: forex.com isn't a fraud, but still I am waiting from them to approve my application...
What site could you recommend me? How about fxcm.com?

Tomorrow is the last day before the plant shuts down and i booked a half day inkeeping with the normal half day before shut down, so i could take the whole day off. I was told that it would be fine when i booked it but now it seems that this has changed although i've not been told i only overheard it. Do you think that i should go in? Particularly as i would then have to travel halfway up the country in the middle of horrendous rush hour on Friday afternoon.

I have enough of being lazy after my last job laid me off, I can't get another job because of my criminal record (waiting to get it expunged) and I am still living with my parent so I don't have any bills or anything to worry about, I really want to work but all the work place I went to do not hire a convict felon!
