These are the keys to making a successful businessman/CEO:
1) A vision of what needs to happen
2) A drive to work for it even if that work means delegation to people who specialize in certain niches
3) An understanding of the market in which they're involved as well as continual assessment of how to improve his business as well as observing how the competition is improving theirs.
4) Surround yourself with honest, motivated people with initiative. Having to spoon feed all your employees is a full time job and not conducive to getting much else done.

learning and success is a journey and not a destination;
at the heart of professionalism is the fundamental tenet that no matter how good one becomes there is always room for improvement;
Success can only be achieved by learning via a process of trial and error and critical introspection
