All aspects of your empoyment are covered by law. You have statutory rights and then contractural rights. Contractural rights can not supercede stats. unless they improve your conditions.

Disciplinary, Duty of care to employee, pay, etc all covered.

Did you know that withholding wages without express permission is theft in Scotland. A Criminal, not civil offence, which can therefore lead to a jail term.

Any specific aspect you should discuss with a C.A.B. unless you have already instructed a lawyer or a union rep.

The national minimum wage
Hours of work (max 48 per adult unless you sign disclaimer,)
How often you should have breaks etc.

But remeber if everybody worked by the book then no work would probably ever get done.
