I have been down with flu for the last 2 weeks. The problem is that I have been attending a workshop to start out a new computer system in my company and cannot afford to miss any sessions as everyday is a new project to run. But I have been really sick off and on with flu like sympthoms like running nose, cough, headache. I have kept going till today when I couldn't get up frm bed.. I called in sick but I felt so bad. How can I make up for the lost time?

Contact your boss, it probably hasn't gone unnoticed your diseased status in the work place. He/She may be okay with you missing a day, and may have an idea on how you can catch up or make up what you miss.

Everybody understand being sick. Please take sick leave so that you can get better. No one at work wants to catch your flu germs

if your sick then you need to stay home so you can get better, if you keep showing up for work sick you could end up w/ walking pneumonia. stay home and take care of yourself.
