I have been speaking to my sister who lives in LA and she says that the CA real estate market is evolving into a buyer's market, which is usually an omen for the rest of the US. I see very little signs of this in pricing.

I am looking towards the central coast - any tips? Personally I would wait til the end of 2007 before buying anything. Opinions?

Since I am 100% disabled from an auto accident, my doctors have told me that I will never be able to work outside of the house again. This is bad enough, but I have 2 boys, 1 in college and 1 getting ready to go into college this next year. I also have a mortgage and a land payment, along with the normal bills. I have been in the accounting/personnel/executive assistant fields for over 25 years. Surely, there is something that I can do over the internet at my computer from home. There has to be someone out there or some company who needs someone like me to help them. I am an honest, hard working and loyal employee. I have supervised an office of about 22 people before, so I am not, by any means, a stupid person. I have also run a 1 person office before. Long time ago, I trained all the new bookkeepers for a company. I have so much experience and I don't want it to go to waste. I can't imagine sitting around the house with nothing to do-I'll go crazy!

I invest in mutual funds with a group I will leave anonymous. I just started. I know that mutual funds are like stocks and any other investment there's a chance you can lose money. However, is it possible the representatives can be storing away any profits that you did make into their account and making it look like you lost money from the investment? If so, I might just go to saving money from the bear market point of view. Savings bonds, Certificate of Deposits, savings account, and any other sure profit investments rather than these unpredictable and shady investments strategies. What do you think? Make money the old fashioned way and just save it?

My 2000 Ford Explorer was rear ended by a tractor trailer. There was only a scratch on my bumber. The tractor trailer was only going about 5 mph. My neck has been bothering me since the accident so I'm seeing a chiropractor now. I'm wondering if it's even possible for me to get the other guy's car insurance company to pay my chiro bills, since the accident resulted in little damage to my vehicle.

Hi,

My husband and I bought our home 5 months ago. One thing that we really needed was r.v. parking which the agent advertised on the mls. Four days before closing, the agent suddenly tells us that the association of this subdivision, doesnt allow r.v. parking on the property at all! We went ahead and closed on the house because the seller said he would pay for 6 months of r.v. storage cost. We really didnt know what are rights were at the time so we took the money although still very upset that it was listed with r.v. parking. So our question is what rights do we have as far as either geting compensated for the storage cost for a certain period of time or can we get out of this contract of the sale of house all together even 5 months after closing?
