I shop at a Wal-Mart where employees and customers are great! The staff are warm and friendly, they know the merchandise. If they can't find something they quickly get the information and point in the right direction.
I have never seen a mean-spirited Wal-Mart employee.

They underpay them. Keep them all at part-time so they don't have to give them the good benefits. And then they overwork them.
Sorry you had a bad experience. Not all of them are miserable. Maybe you were there on an offday.
