how to get business from realtors? I heard that the easy and possible way is find realtors who are new in this industry and they don't have reliable loan officers yet. But how to find them? Thank you!

I got sucked in to one of these pay day loan places about 8 months ago. The interest is so high that every time I get paid I am now returning to pay off the interest and get ANOTHER loan until the following pay day. I am never going to get back on my feet like this and with the holidays it's even harder. I am spending $200/month in cash advance fees. I have every intention of paying them back, but what if just waited until I had the full amount saved up before I went back there? Ignored their phone calls and just waited until I had the loan amount to give in full? I know it sounds shady, but I am sick of this horrible scam I have fallen victim to.

Back in October, my husband and I rented the upstairs of our house to a couple. We charge them $150 a month. We also signed a month to month lease with them with rules that they were to follow and they agreed to them.

About a week or so after they moved in, they started being very loud at night, stomping and banging around after 11:00 pm. We have 3 small children and we don't want them to wake up at night because of the noise.

We wrote them a letter, reminding them of the rules and asking them to please be more quiet at night. They wrote us a letter stating that they were not, in a round about way, going to follow the rules and they also stated that the letter was also their 30 day notice.

We accepted their notice but the noise has gotten worse at night.
Can we serve them with a 7 day notice even though we served them with a 30 day? They owe us $70 for December and have to be out by January 3rd. They have only paid for 2 weeks of December. Any advice please! Thanks!

I have a teaching degree, and I have been teaching for 4 years. My whole life I wanted to be a teacher. I wanted to teach throughout my undergraduate career. However, during the last two years, I have been very discouraged with it. The morale at my school is down among teachers, a lot of pressure is being put on teachers. I can barely pay my bills and I have to work a part time job just to make ends meet. I am currently working on my master's degree, but I won't be finished for almost a year. I could get a different job after that, but I don't know if I want to teach next year. Another catch is that I will have tenure if I teach next year. So what do I do? Do I stick it out, miserable for one more year and get tenure, or do I find something else to do for a year and then get back into the schools with a different job after I have my master's. (My master's is in school counseling, so I will be going back to the school system.) Have any of you ever changed careers?

My job does not keep me busy enough and I go home exhausted from the boredom almost every night. A lot of people here are not that busy because business has been slow for quite some time. The only reasons I stay at the job is because I work for great people and the pay and benefits are excellent. I've been looking for another job for a long time but the economy has been sluggish. I just wondered if others out there have this same problem?

I am an I T software manager who is looking to relocate to Phoenix, AZ. Checking job sites and postings I see that a software manager averages a little under 100k. I do believe that is low. Can someone tell me what the ballpark is? What is the median for 4 years of s/w development exp and 2.5 years of mgmt exp w/MBA?

I was a loyal, happy customer of SMC and had a website through their eMerchantClub. An UNauthorized $200 debit came out of my account from eMerchantClub. I called them and they were rude and told me there was nothing I could do but fax or mail a request for refund...which I did immediately.
No response ever came. I reported them to their local BBB. They sent me a copy of their response letter to the BBB in which, their lawyer admits in writing that they only gave me 15 days notice (via a mass email which I swear I never received)...our contract states they will give 30 days notice..which mean breach of contract. She also said that a refund check had been issued already...even cited a check#.
That was in July/Sept 2006. It is 12/1/06 today and I have not seen any refund, nor have I gotten a single direct response to my complaint.
Of course, I've closed all relations with that company.

Has anyone else had a similar experience to mine with them? What can I do about it?

I found several web sites that listed the statue of Limitations in Arkansas for a written contract (car loan) to be 5 years. I need to make sure this is correct.. my husband's ex-wife had a veh. repo'd 8 years ago and he never heard anything else about it but we just got a letter claiming we owed 8,000 for the debt leftover after the vehicle was auctioned... But this happened 8 years ago???? So am I right on the 5 year statute?

Is it just as simple as going over there, finding a store to rent and signing the lease as a foreign company registered in Australia, or do you have to register as a US company to be able to enter into leases, employ US citizens, etc.

I guess you would at least need a US bank account - how would this work also.

My job consists of proofing policies (checking deductibles and coverages before they go out to the insured) and I send back if it has mistakes, mail out if none. I process cancellations & reinstatements, conditional and non-renewals, and prep stuff to go out in the mail. I also prepare questionnaire packages when policies are up for renewal. Oh yeah, I work in INSURANCE.

What would my position be called? I know it is something clerical, but I am trying to match job descriptions. The work I do is very broad and they fit into different categories. How do I find what my average salary should be?

I went to the bank to deposit a check in my husband's account, and she told me that there would be an eight day hold on the chech due to my husband's account history. He has had this account since September, and we have deposited a lot of checks, and never had this problem. Now our rent is due and there are not enough funds in the account to pay it! Why wouldn't they deposit it if they have in the past?
