yesterday in the mail i received a 42,000 check from a company that sent me a email earlier inthe month asking for reps in the us for them . i replied for the opptunity to make a lil xtra money. they replied telling me i wa on their staff and that i will be reciving a check in the mail. i didnt believe it so i just deleted the email. but to my surprise the check seems real has account number and everything payable to me. the company is called global wealth management. any body have any idea about this company and what they do ?

I was accused of taking money from my employer, which is a grocery store. I was wondering if I should up and quit. I have never stolen anything in my life and I get very offended if someone accuses me of such things. I also wasn't the only person responsible for the money either. So was my boss and a few other people. My boss blames me. They said we aren't accusing you of stealing but you were responsible for the money and its missing. Which sounds alot like accusing to me. I am planing to go into law enforcement so I couldn't get a hit on my record like that. I was afraid that if I quit it would be like admiting guilt. So should I quit?

The company is InPhonic and they are telling me I broke a contract with them I didn't know I had. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and their registration with the BBB was revoked a year ago due to a large number of unanswered complaints. There are over 3,000 complaints with this company in the past 36 months. Is there anything I can do to get out of paying this? I have a good credit score and they are already threatening to report it.

When I passed all the tests I don't remember hearing it would be a 6 month assignment. When you think temporary you think ok iif I do good they'll keep me. But now I'm shocked because I'm afraid I won't have an income in 6 months. I was told if I do good I'll be put on a good list and they decide what to do from there. Yikes. Any suggestions? What should I do? HELP! I'm trying to rent out a place but now I may not be able to.

Credit Card compnaies seem to ignor my request to cancel, or give me an argument to cancel, even when cards have not been used for years. It is like they want to issue as many cards as possible and do not want to cancel any. Can they be reported to some government agency if they refuse to cancel on request.

i have found a 10 year fixed rate mortgage for 4.98%. It seems a good rate and less than my current variable, however, a friend says that if we join the euro in the next few years, our interest rate will go down dramatically and could therefore leave me paying over the odds. what do others think. obviously i would be tied in for the 10 year period with redemption penalties.
i have also found a good 3 year fixed at 4.89, but my worry is that if interest rates rise over that time, when my fixed ends i might have to pay much more on the next mortgage.
what do others think?
