If you make 15,000 a year but also earn 800 dollors in intrest that year on bank cds. How much taxes do you have to pay around for the 800 intrest in cds? Just a ballpark figure? Is it 15 percent off the 800 dollors. Thanks.

My bf is in debt. We've been together 6 yrs. He pays child support for 2 kids which will be done in 3 more yrs. He's got a court loan for about $6,000 and a credit card bal. of $4200. He doesn't make good financial decisions, he just bought a Harley for $3000 because "it was a good deal." He keeps saying after his support is done he'll have more money. His mother has money and he says after his support is done she's going to give him part of his inheritence. He and I both currently rent. I'm really getting tired of the apartment life. I don't feel comfortable buying a house with all of my money, having him move in along with all of his kids stuff. Does this mean I'm selfish? I don't feel I should pay part of his bills from him previous marriage. He's getting eatin up w/monthly interest. I love him, but really wondering where I'm going to be w/him down the road. Help..

Ok all you accountants need some advice. I've been working for haliburton in iraq for almost 2 years having gone home only once in that time. I have non resident status with my only ties to back home being a small bacnk account, visa and driver's license. In the 2 years I'll have made almost $200,000 all of which goes into a US bank account. When I come home I plan on transferring all that I have in it back to my Canadian account. Can anyone tell me if I will get taxed on the money I made? I have no wife and no kids..

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, ESPECIALLY ANYONE LOOKING TO PURCHASE CAR INSURANCE IN THE UK

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT under any circumstances, accept a policy of Insurance from Adrian Flux Insurance Services, thats my advice. They may appear perfectly respectable on the surface, but my experience was one of the company taking the Lions Share of my premiums and then telling me I wasnt insured a few weeks later and although they did refund a small precentage of my premiums, most of it they just kept for themselves and gave me nothing in return. Dont be tempted by their cheap quotes, its probably bate to hook you in.

Now you may be wondering what my question is, (this is a Q & As site after all) Well its like this, there are plenty of other Insurance Brokers and companmies out there, that are perfectly reputable and will actually give you insurance if you pay for it, so the question is:

why on earth take a chance with Adrian Flux ??? given the above.

I recently took an offer to work for a different company. I have a loan out against my 401k with my previous employer. I have two more checks coming from them that will take out a weekly amount towards my loan. Am I then obligated to pay the rest right away? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What I offer is peace of mind to brides and grooms and possibly more importantly to the parents of the bride.

I have some success when selling at bridal fairs but could use some help to become very effective.
